F.A.Q
What breed of hog do you source?
The pork sourced from our family’s farm consists of a Landrace/Yorkshire crossbreed. The Landrace breed has long been known for their superior flavor and tenderness compared with other common swine breeds.
How are the pork cuts processed?
Our meats are processed at a USDA inspected facility. The pork butts are custom cut to include the “money muscle.” The St. Louis style ribs are processed with the membranes.
How is my order shipped?
Orders are shipped FedEx 2 Day Delivery. All orders are completely frozen before shipping. Your order will be shipped in a styrofoam cooler with ice packs. If you live near our base of operations (Clinton, MO), contact us directly if you would like to personally pick up your order.
When will my order be shipped?
All orders are shipped by Wednesday, to guarantee delivery by Friday. Orders placed after Tuesdays will be processed for shipping the following week. Because the meat is perishable, we want to guarantee delivery before the weekend. You will receive tracking information when orders are shipped.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged or spoiled?
We guarantee the quality of our product. Please inspect your product immediately upon arrival. If it is damaged or spoiled, email or phone (813-731-3362) us within 24 hours and we will work with you to correct the problem.
Can you ship refrigerated pork cuts?
We understand some competition barbecuers seek out refrigerated (never previously frozen) cuts of meat. Contact us directly before ordering if you desire your pork cuts shipped refrigerated. There are some instances where we may be able to accommodate such requests.
Can I order other individual cuts of pork?
At this time, we are unable to offer other individual cuts of meat on a regular basis. From time to time, we may run special offers on a specific cut of meat. Like us on Facebook to remain up-to-date on our latest news.
